An event headcount is needed in advance for the venue set-up. We will use ticketed reservations for this number. The restaurant has a full ho host bar. The restaurant charge for corkage is $20.00 and is to be provided as cash to MSSF at the beginning of the event to cover our bill at the end of the night. Limited support is available to Members with financial hardship; please contact Theresa Halula to discuss arrangements for a ticket. The intent is to get to know one another better and have some fun. Casual dress is fine, dress up you if enjoy party attire.

A White Elephant Gift Exchange will occur, participation is fun, encouraged, and optional. What is a white elephant? This gift exchange is a party game. If you want to play, bring a small, wrapped gift. Bring a wrapped gift brought to an open gift exchange. All gifts are placed into a random pool. An order of gift selection is established, and players begin the game. A first gift is opened and shown to all the players. The next player may select a gift from the pool or “steal the gift” from the first player. Play proceeds until all the gifts have been opened and all players have a gift. There are a few rules to observe…

A gift may only be “stolen” three times during the game.
The first player has one more chance and may select the last wrapped gift remaining in the pool at the end of the game or keep the gift in hand.
Please select mushroom themed gifts, such as a mushroom mug, a mushroom lawn ornament, dried edible mushrooms, a book you are ready to give away, a small bottle of KOH, Mushroom “Thank You “cards, a compass, a collection basket, a magnifying field loop, rubber stamp, mushroom night light, book plate, your own drawing or water color, you get the idea.
Keep the selection easy, expensive purchases are not expected.

The event ticket price includes the 20% gratuity for servers. No host bar is available. If you bring your favorite bottle, be prepared to pay $20.00 corkage fee (cash only).
